He also complains about how unserious everything in the story is right now but that's his signature.
Never expect aveyond to be consistent.
Also, Aveyond, if you want military clothing, just do baelsars wall or bozja.

As someone who has developed an interest in Soviet/WW2 history over the last year or so I can kinda see where you are coming from? However, I would argue that the gear we have is appropate enough, with shades of such fashion but embedded in its own fantasy style. If anything I would much rather we see future Garlean fashion that leans more into their magitek side. Honestly the Soviet comparisons really did not flower until we travelled to Garlemald and EW I feel, and even then it was more evocative then a direct couterpart.
I do find it interesting when those who have previously said they dislike politics in video games are supportive of things like this as… well, this is far more political then someones gender I would say.
Can you blame them? You are flying a bit close to the sun here even for you. Whilst the Soviets from WW2 may be a far cry from the fascists in power now, they are currently engaged in a horrific war. Plus I have seen in other fandoms certain people cry for such military outfits, but to be used for less savoury means. Sexy cat ladies is a far cry from the horrible types of roleplay I have seen people wish to recreate with ‘militaristic’ gear, no matter the source.
A lot of people also forget the part of history of the extreme atrocities Imperial Japan committed during ww2 in Asia.
Truth is, there is no need for more military-type glamours now that Garlean Empire doesn't exist. What they should do instead is keep adding QoL features and so on.
Yeah, I'm not sure why he can't just dye the lv 83 set Olive, Ochu, Adamantoise, or Nophica green. Now it's been awhile since I've seen how well those sets dye but those mentioned dyes do get close to the color the op wants and are already military styled.
Edit: If they dye anything similar to how the Pactmaker's gathering set dyes then Olive green dye would work. Unless he's going to shoot that down cause of it having a cape
... '-' ok, last time I said this about Garlean outfits and being analogous to "Early 20th Century dictatorships" in general, be they Japanese, Russian, German or otherwise, people went completely insane about it. And I just threw that idea into the air without much thought, even prefacing it with "Yeah, this is going to make some people mad".
...and now people are okay with the idea and actually discussing those things?
Is this the Twilight Zone??
I am confusion, Forums explain.
Some people here need to chill out.
Having more military gear(even if people will use it to roleplay soviets/nazis/whatever) won’t make a scary Nazi man appear at your door and take you to the gas chamber, I promise.
I can't fathom the opposition to a request as basic as this one other than the usual contrarians or people who, as the first page showed, are so afraid of boogeymen they can't actually tell who they are. Nothing posted in this thread so far has made much of an argument against this glamour besides people getting their feelings hurt over a uniform, and consequent nitpicking.
Goodness help them should they ever play Lost Ark which has released multiple military sets over the past year or FFVII/FFVIII where they feature prominently.
I'm not really seeing how Garlean uniforms would be an issue. They've always had some of the sickest drip in the game. People have been begging for a lot of it for ages, most notably the powered armor their highest ranking officers and officials are typically seen wearing.
