The only time I've made use of Lightning's hairstyle was for a beach outfit so it made sense to look kind of messy and stringy.

Would love this feature.

Would be great, especially for store-only hairstyles. I bought the Lightning set mostly for the hair, but am not a fan of how it looks on my lalafell; luckily I've grown to like how the rest of the set looks.

I feel like the current system in the hairstyle choice menu, with the mostly useless labelling of where you acquired optional hairstyles from, must have come out of misinterpreting the request to have "all hairstyles visible in the menu but label the locked ones with how to get them".

I agree!!

I don't like a majority of the hairstyles so I don't wear them, literally only 3-4 hairstyles appeal to me and they're the Au'Ra female-specific ones-- and a preview of any 'additional' hairstyles purchased via mogtation or acquired ingame would be great!
Like how we can preview outfits in the inn/editing aesthetician

Yes! My favorite hairstyle is a ponytail, but I would love to choose another hairstyle that only gets applied when I wear a specific glamour plate, in case I want to wear a hat or something.
