Relic Weapons for you? Curiosity

after seeing the full requirements, nope. fuck that. it's a rediculous grind for weapons that will become obsolete and end up purely a status symbol of ages gone by. I'll just wait til the lieutenant company gear comes out instead.

Step 7 - Kill chief NM of one specified Stronghold.

MNK = Flamefist in Zaha'rak
WAR =
DRG =
BRD =
WHM =
BLM =

Step 8 - Gather 3 Materials from 6th Chest available at end of AV and CC Run
Items: Miser's Mythril (Aurum Vale), Alumina Salts (Cutter's Cry)

Step 9 - ?

Except they will be upgradeable in the future.

I'm probably going to hold out on working on them to see if they change anything in 1.22c or 1.23, unless my entire LS feels that they can deal with the randomness. I kinda want two of them as well so it would be nice to find out of i have to do the 25k seals/9 beastmen seals stage for a 2nd weapon.

You don't get a requirement to get Mythril/Salts at the same time. I'm assuming the salts phase will be after.... so you can't really alternate dungeons. :(

- Every MMO game has things to get that Requires multiple steps
- This content is clearly not ment to be cleared in a weeks time ( unless you go all Extreme Hardcore on it)
- Weapons are upgradeable overtime, It will never become Obsolete ( only when they raise Cap then there maybe a chance it will become obsolete at that time and Mythic weapons could arise)

I agree If I don't have Relic by Lieutenant Weapon, I will still get LT. Weapon and continue my Journey to get Gae Bolg ( Awesome looking and stats are o.o)

I really have nothing better to do, why not?

I for one aren't rushing to do it, the time investment required isn't worth the getting only marginally better weapon, this might change in future of course when it is upgradeable, but again.. no rush..

I'll take Garlemald with a slingshot, naked, before I go for one of those relic weapons... I'm sure it would be more interesting.

I wouldn't go ahead and say all of the weapons are just "marginally better." Maybe the BLM, WHM, WAR, and BRD weapons are, but the MNK, DRG, and PLD ones are pretty worth while. Personally, I would only work for the DRG one though since the stats on it are insane.

They are worthwile but they are nto gamebreaking enough, maybe deal 200-300 WS more and increase overall dps by 10%-15%? sure it's alot but is it worth the time investment? it's not for me.

I guess what i meant is i wont bore myself to death spamming hamlet so i can get it fast, i will mine for 2 weeks, wait for weekdays, ge ttop #1, do 3 hamlet and be fiinished.

and after time even easier and so on

theres no rush to do it now when everyone else is trying
