Ah okay, yeah that could have been worded way more delicately.

The reason is because of your phrasing more than anything imo. The idea behind having transfers being queued is fine on its own and I'm sure people would be willing to discuss the pros and cons of that like some have already been doing. What's pulled me specifically out from behind the curtain (cause I can't speak for others) is mainly this:
And this:
Which, to me, is pretty contradictory to what you said in your first post by saying that the people that "matter most" will get first priority while new players and others don't matter the same and should just be locked out. Either way, someone has to matter the least or not at all.
There's also been some pretty rude things in a couple of your posts but since you were also being poked at by being called entitled, I can understand the immediate harsh reaction. However, it doesn't make anyone look good to lash out.
English isn't my first language so sometimes I word things poorly. I do feel like many people did however understand the concepts I put forth, they simply choose to interpret it in the worst way possible.
Also I feel as if I was baited because when you're repeatedly forced to try and re-explain or reiterate chances are your wording can shift and become even more open to interpretation. This gave people the chance to continue to misinterpret it and fling insults at me.
And yes, I know lashing out isn't pleasant, but it's backward to just sit there and let people freely snub you over and over again.
I take it you dont know Chief IT Tech Murphy, or his brother IT tech Finagle.Quote:
What? We knew what date the server was gonna come online though. Even if it was pushed back you could just throw out those applications again.
Your original idea isn't bad though it does have flaws as some have pointed out. It's the attitude that transfers are somehow more important and even going so far as to suggest the servers should be locked to any existing player excited about starting fresh and being a newbie again (which my FC there has a LOT of) that is getting you some heat. No certain type of situation is more important or essential to the DC's success than anyone else.
