Also my headcanon is that ever since he got to Sharlayan he's been surviving on nothing but their brick bread, and that's probably the only thing that revived his tastebuds. Hence the expressivity.

As is my wont to disect art for realism...

Taking him to be a standard 1.8 metres tall adult, that burger is going to have a diameter of 33cm. It also looks to be 11cm thick.

Hes taken a cylindrical bite that is 11cm wide, by 5cm deep - (3.1416 x 5.50^2 x 5) / 2 - so a volume of about 237cm3

A ball with a diameter of 8cm is also 237cm3 - so a bit bigger than a cricket ball. Maybe a slow pitch softball. (ie: 28cm circumference softball sized).

I think that lump in this throat is easily softball sized.
