In the thread where he was complaining about the Shirogane Castle Walls, someone speculated that the other 10 million was what he spent on furnishings. Which makes sense - no way a flipper would have settled for only 30 million gil on Balmung for a medium.

I've always thought that Company Credits would be an interesting currency for FC house purchases instead of gil since legit FCs don't tend to have a lot of gil until they can start selling things produced through their house. Unfortunately, it's too easy to "buy" company credits for those abusing the system. SE would need to rework how the credits are generated (which honestly wouldn't be a bad idea).

They have to find away to stop these shell fc's

Problem is with my own idea..if it was FC had to make x amount in 90days(now you have to figure out a super casual real 4 man fc.can do) but who ever is decated enouugh to do the shell fc will grind easy what a super causel fc dose

Hundreds and hundreds of plots open on Materia. Only the 3 larges and 2 smalls are gone in my ward in Ishgard and that's pretty typical.

Watching people who already own homes, pad the bids with alts for home#2, really shows how futile and shitty this system is.

Frankly, I don't know how anyone can even remotely defend it. Even if you got yours, you have to realize you could have just as easily not been lucky. And if your go-to is "just move," honestly I'd rather play a different game than play this game on a server without any friends. NA in general is screwed in regards to housing, so the kind of move you're talking about is one where I wouldn't even be able to visit friends via DC travel. Props to the Materia DC folk telling someone on an NA datacenter to move to the OCE DataCenter for a house. Yeah, lemme just dump all my friends and play with terrible ping so I can maybe get a home in a game where decorating is terrible anyway. That option isn't feasible and you can't possibly be serious when you suggest these kinds of "solutions."

A much simpler solution, is for Square to utilize the profits XIV makes to solve the server limitations stopping them from adding new wards. This method doesn't inconvenience any players, and only asks that Square take our money and distribute it in a way that makes the players happy, instead of investing it on NFTs and Marvel games.

Oh poor op. I’m sure we all feel sorry for them.

World population imbalance remains an issue. In places like Balmung even if they add 2 new housing areas they still wont be enough.

But I think if they make a new world named "Balmung 2", people will flock to it especially when it has a free transfer for characters from Balmung. Its still Balmung, the culture and everything remains the same, people know what to expect but this time they will actually have a way better chances at obtaining a house while at the same time taking some weights off Balmung. Adding new ones with a completely different name doesnt seem to have this effect.

On my Server a Large Plot had only 28 Tickets and medium plots under 20.
surprisingly , the small plots next to the beach had more than that :P
