What is truly odd about this is that the cheaper one has an NFT certificate of authenticity. But that can't be traded or sold. The more expensive one has that same certificate with the same restrictions and an NFT of the statue. So what exactly is the point of the cheaper version's NFT?
Also super ironic that they use the most anti-capitalist Final Fantasy game to hawk this
I don't get it.
Aren't nft's supposed to be unique to each person?
Everyone gets the same figurine and game in the end, so your code is unique?
Also with how horrible their figurines have been lately i'm surprised people would still buy them ^^"
They should be ashamed of themselves. If NFTs ever come to XIV I'd quit overnight.
I thought that they said they wouldn't do this? Doesn't really make me happy, I've heard NFTs are bad for the environment.
Literally glorified cd-key.
I came 'round to loving XII many, many years later (like two years ago). After XIII's combat and XV's overall terribleness I tried it again and the sense of exploration, discovering hidden quests or seeing the world change over time is great.
Wouldn't mind a gambit system in XIV, now that I think about it. lol
A company uses one of its best/most popular products to make more money. A company is in the business of making money. SE is better than most as they are actually passionate about making good video games. Most NA companies just dive straight for your wallet while producing absolute drivel. The best part is people love to buy drivel! Everyone wins?
So what does this mean?
