It's not a scam, it's a typo lol it's from the official square email.

A new e-mail arrived an hour ago with the word "Correction" in the title. Guess it was a mistake from their side and not a scam?

Then anyone with especially bad ping won't be able to log in at all. The current timing may be overly generous, but there does need to be some leeway.

That wouldn't resolve the issue at all, and in fact make it even more insecure if you happen to fall for a phishing site.
If it generates a code good until the next login, then your scammer can take all the time they want to log in.

Yep, they've re-sent the e-mail with the higher pricing now. Eurgh.
I would have bought the mount at the cheaper price, but not now. -_-

Maybe just the english mails were affected? The mail (in german) I got this morning had the correct prices in Euro.

Looks like this was as typo but just adding on to say I get advertising e-mails all the time, too. I don't follow any links. I just go directly to the site in another tab. I can't think of a single instance where I didn't see the same discount, so they don't do anything like having to follow a link for a lower price that I've seen. So there's no real reason to use a link, even if it's legit.
