I was thinking along the same lines.

Overlooking the fact that their deaths were not permanent, one of the first things that came to mind for me during that scene was who it was we were saying it to: Alisae. Who, just before sacrificing herself, had expressed her upset at the thought of the WoL having to face Meteion alone. And that's exactly the scenario that came to pass - we ended up having to face not Meteion, but the Endsinger, alone and Alisae had to watch the scenario she'd feared actually happen, before being teleported to safety.

Not-so-serious: ............................ To be frank, I can't think of any. I've replayed EW NG+ a total of 3 times at this point (doing my 4th sometime soon), but that CS had been consistently giving me that sense of foreboding; nothing else.
