Favorite FFXIV Characters

Emet, Elidibus, Estinien, Nael, and Gaius. Honor spots for Ramza and Alma.

If I can only pick one then Nael. Nael is basically Sephiroth with the twist that Nael is actually miles better than Sephiroth.

Y'shtola because her sass is adorable, and I love her post Shadowbringers witchy aesthetic. Alisaie because she's a badass red mage, which is the best class. Lastly, G'raha because he's such a loveable dork.

Hades/Emet-Selch is my favorite by a mile with Hythlodaeus giggling right behind him. I find it hard to separate the two, honestly. I've loved that ghost boy since he sat down next to me in Amaurot and getting to meet him face to face in Elpis was an absolute highlight of the zone for me.

Gosetsu hands down from the MSQ.

Hildibrand and all his friends for sidequests.

I like Krile and hopefully she stops being on the bench so much. I want to see more Alphinaud being uncomfortable.

The Leveilleur Twins, Estinien, Y’shtola, Lyse, Papalymo, Emet-Selch, Hydaelyn, Graha Tia, Tataru, etc too many favorites xD

As far as main characters go I love all the Scions but have a soft spot for Thancred. On more side characters, I can't have enough Gaius.

I love how he was written and how he was, in a sense, 'us' if things had gone badly for us. To quote:

Also going to have to give mention to Nashu Mhakaracca, who is just adorable on so many levels!

Emet-Selch by far, I just loved the interactions of him being basically a mirror of us in terms of his mission. We do all we can to save as many as we can, he was doing all he could to bring back as many as he could. Not to mention how tragic his life was, especially after we learned of how things started in Endwalker.
