Erm, you mean one new job/class per expansion?

Believe me, I know. Took me more than two ffxi years playing between sleep and work to get one job to 75(classic party & camp way). Young-guns have it so easy these days... The only way content will keep players busy is if an expansion like FFXI's "Chains of Promathia" was released for XIV. Exp rate and difficulty would need to be adjusted too.
We want new areas and new challenges, SE can't whip that up over night and please the community.
first 75 was Drk i feel your pain. i remember instead of Pt do you need it, it was Haubergeon do you have it? and no invite if you didnt.
I think there is a good chance we will get one or even more new jobs at 2.0 release. I shouldn't be too surprised if we see a glimpse of one in the E3 trailer as SE like to drop a surprise in now and then.
Fairly certain whenever new jobs roll around that the first will be a mage class. Personally I'm waiting for ( in order) SAM,COR ( corsair makes more sense than musketeer we have a city of pirates ffs) and DNC. Think I'll be disappointed and see SMN and possibly THF first though.
Gladiator - paladin - dark knight
Archer - bard - musketeers
Pugilist - monk - ninja
Marauder - warrior - (who knows)
Lancer - dragoon - samurai (based on store tp type skills)
Con - white mage - summoner
thm - black mage - archanist
Just my guesses.
Dissapointed to see SMN?
Reasons SMN should be the first job we get:
1) We dont have a pet class
2) We need more mage classes
3) Summons are a big deal in every FF game.
So god forbid we get a SMN, instead of say... another meelee damage class (SAM, NIN)
or another ranged class like BRD that we already have?
