I just beat ifrit to make the fireball go away!
It's still there!
I dont get it, I beat him on hardmode and everything!!!

You have to make sure the NPCs kill him, otherwise the fireball stays in the sky :/.

The Beastmen? They ran away in my cutscene! Does that mean I have to make a new character????

You've also gotta supply the NPCs with fire extinguishers otherwise they can't kill him.

This is all happening because Chrono didn't give back the necklace.

Yeah, you can only choose from a male Mithra or female Galka though.

Well you will get to see the fireball crashing down upon the land and killing you, but you can't choose another taru.

This is not FFXI, there are no Tarus.
