Will this game ever get open world pvp?

Nope why should it get open world pvp? There are no factions and it wouldn't make sense at all.

All it would do is hurt the games immersion when some random dudes break each others skulls in front of the quest npcs while you try to enjoy what the game is known for, the story.

No never

PVP has its special place - this is not a PVP centric game

If it did, I'd suggest doing it how Luna Online had it.

They had PVP openworld if you were outside of cities, but you had to turn it on. If you didn't want to participate your character was untouchable, until you set yourself to "PVP Ready" then people could attack you outside of the cities.

If it does, that's the day me AND MANY others will quit the game forever.

Not even NPCs could attack(and damage) people on cutscenes, why would you think players could?

Also your reasoning is plenty for SE to never implement a WPVP. And thankfully this game doesnt need it.

I can see a small zone dedicated to it, that sounds really fun. But no way will they have it in every zone. It's not a sandbox mmo like WoW was
