How did you maintain your sanity doing the ARR Beast Tribes without flying?

not just beast tribes also trial of the brave
riding around Slyphland and the mines was definitely my least favorite part when doing those

It was annoying, but I just dealt with it. :/

Oh dear. I remembered I often leave my character on auto-flight toward the quest destination then tabbed out, only to forget to tab back in and found my character was either stuck between one of those high rise terrains or reaaallly far to the edge of the map lol.

Churning Mists made me hate moogles. And I hate myself for hating them because they're moogles.

Some of it was mildly annoying before HW simply because you had to deal with random enemy aggro running around the areas you needed to go to. HW increased the lv cap to 60 and running around those areas was less of a hassle because nothing would bother you while doing the quests.

Just finished up after putting them off for so long. Even with flying it was suffering with the Sylph quests being by far the worse. I hated doing them - not a single one felt fun to do or interesting. Then the Sylph main quest... I wanted to strangle that scholar. He made everything 110% harder and more tedious.

Hats off to those that suffered this without flying.

You will likely never believe me that I refuse to take flight in the ARR areas. Some of us are masochists.

Besides, Sea of Clouds remains the worse area to traverse despite being a zone initially designed to have flight in it.

True, but at least they were just in the one area. The frogs in Sylphlands are like Visa. They're everywhere I wanna be.
