DRK seemed very underwhelming and not sure if they addressed blood weapon or Dark mind. Its cool they fixed salted earth, but really they could have removed salted earth for something better like dark passenger.

DRK is so underwhelming. There's still a lot we don't know, but I will likely have my main Tank be PLD. Good thing I'm levelling it up now. Maybe try WAR in 6.0 too. At least it has some new skills that make it stand out.

Personally, I'm cool with the other gap closers becoming more like onslaught, so them gaining 20y is great! I just they could be as responsive as onslaught and dps neutral.

Just some of my thoughts and observations on the job action trailer and live letter that I haven't really seen mentioned or talked about much.
PLD
- During Req there are 3 spell casts and then 4 Confiteor-like abilities for a total of 7 gcd's under Req. This implies that either Req has had it's duration increased to ~15s or they may have even changed it completely by disassociating the regular spells (Clemency, Holy Spirit, Holy Circle) from Req and it just gives you 4 stacks to cast the Confiteor-like abilities. Maybe some mish-mash of both scenarios.
- Personal opinion, they went a bit overboard with so many huge flashy Confiteor looking attacks and vfx. It's a bit "much".
WAR
- I feel people are underestimating how much moving Inner Release to 60s will alter the rotation and dynamic of WAR.
GNB
- The addition of there being a Continuation action off of Burst Strike creates a neat variation of a combo where a GCD attack then procs the usage of an OGCD, like a two step version of Gnashing Fang that is used way more often. Looks like it will be fun.
DRK
- Like WAR, I think many are underestimating the impact of shifting Delirium to 60s.
- The new line attack dark energy blast ability appears to be a GCD, as others have pointed out you can see the yellow gcd weaponskill vfx at the DRK's feet, and being able to use the ability seems to be proc'ed by the usage of Edge, and also likely Flood. This makes it a bit of a reverse of GNB's two step Burst Strike -> Continuation combo with an OGCD proc'ing a GCD. This could really mix up DRK's GCD based game-play since you use Edge/Flood a lot and could potentially raise the skill-level ceiling since proper resource management and tbn usage will now not only affect how many OGCDs you are throwing out, but potentially your entire GCD rotation.
- I'm curious about the new ability that plays off of Salted Earth. Many think it is just another OGCD since you don't see the weaponskill yellow vfx when it is used, however it is possible that it is still a GCD ability but a Spell like Unleash which doesn't have that vfx. This would follow the same pattern of an OGCD ability proc'ing the use of a GCD ability that was used in the other new DRK ability and would double down on making DRK have a more open GCD rotation which should break up the 1-2-3 of the Soul Eater combo.
- Personal opinion. While DRK may have had the least "flashy" showing in the job action trailer, based on what little was shown and what can be gleaned from that combined with the many questions that leaves us with, I kind of get the feeling that DRK may end up being the tank that plays the most different in Endwalker compared to Shadowbringer. -

My only curiosity is if the devs will do anything to remove the Atonement shift rotation, maybe by shortening the duration, but I would prefer they leave it as is. While Royal Authority and Atonement wasn't shown, I wouldn't take that as any reason to consider them removed.
