Get used to it, this is Final Fantasy. Elezen are quite clearly meant to be the game's equivalent of Elvaan btw.
Also Jak & Daxter are elves too, right?

Final Fantasy games typically actively embrace attractive aesthetics, though.
Elezen just aren't as good looking as they could and should be. It's been a pretty common complaint over the years and the contributing factor as why so few people actually play them. Of those who do, many seem to cling to them purely so they can 'stand out'.
It's fine to agree to disagree, though. It's just a video game at the end of the day.
I did not use such words to describe my feelings on the matter. I do not swear, on this site at least.
Given the lack of the race's popularity in general, though, I'd wager that the development team are well aware that they are a niche at best.
It'd be rude to randomly attack people for playing an Elezen. It isn't rude to weigh in on a thread revolving around the discussion of Elezen proportions to put forward my opinion on...Elezen proportions.
Elves are usually my go to in fantasy games where they're available. Especially ruggedly handsome Elves with a bit of muscle on them. Alas, even a decade after the game's original launch we're still lacking one of the most common tropes in a fantasy setting - a tall male option with classically handsome features and chiselled muscle. Pretty much every playable option has a major downside which is why requests for expanded character customisation happen to be common.
It worked for the art style of ff11. It just looks plain weird and unnatural in 14. There's ways to be actually creative without making things look disjointed. The posture literally gives them a potbelly in 90% of glams. Thats just poor design.Dunno how i have a lack of creativity for not liking strange proportions lol
At the end of the day that's your opinion, personally I don't see how it's unnatural when they're literally the same. Agreed about the posture at least.
I don't know!
personally i'm a fan of the redbill scarf
