Interesting, didn't think they'd do it, but kinda glad they are cause it's definitely causing issues.

I expect that it will help slightly .
Those people who really want to AFK will find a way around it, hopefully that won't be many people, or hopefully it won't be as easy as some systems I've seen.
For those people who can't login due to the priority system on trial accounts, there will likely be a better chance of getting in - so less chance of being completely blocked (black screen) - but you may just get into a really long queue instead, depending upon your server.
but but . ps4 will turn into sleep mode after some inactivity. there is maybe a way how to manage it , but why . looks more like a pc problem
Kudos to the team for reacting to this unprecedented surge of players to an established MMO in a timely manner.
They've been pretty good about ramping it up during expansions when there is always a wave and ebb but who knows how long this push will last and whether it'll blur into the expansion swell and make the problem exponentially worse.
I've had some folks on my server say they got up to 200ish but I haven't seen anything above 40 and taking less than a minute. I was even constantly logging in and out swapping things between two alt characters in US prime time Saturday night.
From the looks of posts here, though, the EU servers are getting hosed.
Been at a login queue of 1508 yesterday evening. Thanks SE for reacting quickly, although i fear people just dont give a shit and plan a workaround to counteract this.
Lets just hope this alleviates the issue at least a little bit.
Nonetheless its awesome to see so many new people coming in.
Ask, and ye shall receive!
While I am one of these new players, I don't see why people are complaining so much about the queues. Even with a queue over 100 I've never had the game take more than 3 minutes to log me in. I don't see why you're all so impatient. I'm just glad to see worlds that are so populated.
Honestly, I agree that this feature should be permanent.
