The last time SE did this style of promotion (the FF7R DLC) a LOT of people bought their stuff earlier in the day and submitted it only for it to be kicked back as Invalid. The time on the receipt matters

HOW TO PARTICIPATE IN THE OFFER/OFFER ITEM: During the Offer Period, a participant must purchase at least $5.00 worth of any Butterfinger product in the same transaction (“Qualifying Purchase”), while supplies last (see Appendix for list of participating products). All purchases must be made during the Offer Period to be eligible for this Offer.

Don't try to buy them early, make sure the receipt has the UPC on it, don't try to submit them early, and if you do, don't complain you "didn't get your stuff, WTF SE"

yeah but about that... here is the issue.
if you click on "buy online" the product they link for (at least me) that is still in stock is this one and well.. it's not 5$ so does that mean if I buy two of these will I qualify still? or am I just screwed?

There is a bigger one I saw. I wonder, can I just buy it online "Send it" to the store, and just not go and pick it up? I've never bought anything online off Walmart. Does it give you an invoice, and is an invoice valid if it does? Aside from that, what about Amazon butterfingers?

[EDIT]: Never mind. I'll just not be lazy and get it from Walmart. My grandma apparently doesn't mind Butterfingers, so I'll give them to her.

Apparently you can only upload via desktop and not mobile as the image submission can't pull from your phone.

I was able to do it from my phone.

I went ahead and bought a bag of those mini ones so I can pass them off to other people since I'm not a Butterfinger fan, but the receipt doesn't specifically state Butterfinger or anything... Hoping it still works... This is a really weird promotion; how every store does their receipts seems like it would be pretty different... Would be better to just limit it to buy online or something. D;
