Delubrum and Timeworn Artifact

Dal gives way more mettle than any other source. So if you're trying to farm mettle for honors, it's still a good target. Also if you don't intend to build more relics, Dal is a better target than DR.

It all depends on what you're trying to do.

Also yeah, I calculated that even if I were to run DR every day between now and Endwalker's launch, I'd still be about a month short on timeworn artifacts. That's absurd. Drop more of them.

I've personally stopped DR even though I'm 3/15 into my third relic. Call me old fashioned but if content gives out meaningful reward people will want to do it, rather than be coerced to do it. I honestly feel bad for the people playing catch-up because this step just has so much going wrong for it and they missed the boat on fun and fast DR runs. Also, people afking or doing sub-optimal damage is hindering other people's experience. There's nothing fun about getting one item for 45+ mins of monotony and carrying randoms.
You can also buy the hairstyle in Zadnor so that's even less reason to go into DR. Buff it to 5 timeworn, otherwise I'll do my part and not queue. DR is effectively Bozja's Pagos but at least Pagos was nerfed right away.

Knowing that in the end it gives a 535 weapon with the secondary stat you want, it's fine.

That is also one thing, i am trying o tell people to please use damage potions and all i get in return is stupid comments like "i am healer i am nto dps", "i dont care", "mind your own business"

Yea right lets spend 50 minutes in here when it could be 25 instead, i had a really fast run yesterday almost 20 minutes and the enxt was a horrible slug.

After my 4h relic i was so done with DR. SE needs to do something about it ASAP, as this step is boring, repetitive, looong as hell and not fun at all. It feels more like a punishment than anything else

The timeworn artifact grind really makes little sense the way it is. The amount of time you have to spend clearing PotD or Delubrum for the rate they drop really makes it not fun at all. Which is really weird too considering the last step of the relic weapon is so much faster by comparison, and arguably has much more enjoyable options to actually get the required memories for that step. If the Timeworn artifact step were to be more consistent with the last step, PotD should be guaranteed artifact drop on floors 50+, with floors 100+ dropping 1-3, and Delubrum should give 3+ artifacts on completion.

Oh and Delubrum in general is just not enjoyable. It takes way too long to clear most of the time and the 'two mistake' instant death feels overly punishing. Yeah, yeah, essences, which I do use but not everyone does, plus the defensive essences don't do a thing to keep you alive trough the instant death punishment mechanic. But in general Delubrum is the black sheep of the three Bozjan raids for being way too overtuned. Dalriada, and actually even CLL now with the new Zadnor buffs, are actually fun to run through. Delubrum feels like an absolute chore.

DRN is enjoyable right now because on the Light DC we have a discord who's starting runs were everyone has to use offensive essences.
These sub 20 runs are really fun.

But still, i get 2 for the last step and just 1 timeworn...
That seems a little bit stupid.

I have 5 completed relics and 1 relic ready to be turned in (kept open to continue collecting Raw Emotions).

I don't like that Timeworns can only be progressed in Delubrum.

Delubrum also gives Raw Emotions, POTD is not a reasonable alternative.

Practically, Dalriada is completely useless for anything besides mettle.

It'd be nice to exchange Platinum Coins for Timeworns, maybe 2 platinum for 1 Timeworn. Assuming no bonus chest, that means after 5 Dalriada runs, players would have 27 platinum coins (after the 200 mythril are exchanged) - it's reasonable to assume people will earn 3 platinum while waiting for those Dalriadas to spawn. That way an entire Raw Emotion step done in Dalriada would almost fund the next relic's Timeworn step. Probably not the best idea, but having some alternate way to get Timeworns would be nice.

I'd like collect relic items regardless of the quest step being open. I'd like to turn in my 6th relic but then I wouldn't be able to double-up inside Delubrum. This has been a problem for the entire Shadowbringer's relic line.

As for Delubrum being "overtuned", it isn't. The average player refuses to properly engage with the content.

Most players only use things like Cure, Bubble, Shell, Protect, and essences like Savior, Platebearer, and Guardian. These are all completely useless in Delubrum, assuming there's no need to play outside one's role (MCH tank for example). Delubrum expects things like Skirmisher, Aetherweaver, Martialist, Banner of Honored Ends/Noble Sacrifice, Fonts of Power and Magic, etc.

It doesn't require a coordinated group to run in under 30 minutes, it just needs players to kit properly. It doesn't require a lot of Excellences, Pures, buffed Flare Stars, and coordinated Rend Armors.

If Delubrum was tuned around players not using actions or essences, those bosses would die in seconds by people actually trying.

Yes! Please fix the bottleneck that Timeworn Artifacts have become! DR is great content, and I still do my weekly but 1 Timeworn Artifact per run isn't rewarding enough. How about adding 3-5 per Dalriada or increasing the DR reward to 3-5 per run.

I have to agree/bump. The timeworn artifacts are a road block, I gave up after the first weapon, won't be touching it again until there are reasonable (and enjoyable) way to secure them. Doing DR 15 times is neither reasonable, nor enjoyable.


I'll agree with previous posters, give 3-5 for DR, and make it guaranteed drop for floors 50+ POTD. I'd be happy to see them add another option, fates, lvl 80 dungeons, or whatever needs help in queue times.


I'd normally be quite happy to do relics at this stage of the game, it's a long time til november.
