Edit: Like BLU from FFXI. The spells didn't exactly take away from the melee aspect of the job and in a lot of cases enhanced the job(solo skill chains, self buffs, debuffs, stuns)

Not to knock the developers... cause.. you know.. they're alright with me...
But I would have liked to see the beast tribe use different classes than what we have access to....
(And please don't bring up the fact that the beast Thaums are actually the old thaums with astral/umbral abilities and are therefore using a class we don't have access to... You know that's not the point)
I don't want to see Sahagin Conjurers and such.... it's kind of silly when you think about it

Personally, I don't see the jobs that I wanted to fit in with this weapon class system.
Ever since Gladiator had shield-centric skills, I couldn't see my Kefka-like vision happening.
BUTT... trying to conform my thoughts more toward the current system...
A Red Mage under Gladiator with access to abilities like Red Lotus and/or some enfeebling melee attacks.
A Dark Knight under Marauder that is less tank-oriented and more offensive oriented, boosts to things like Berzerk and Bloodbath. If the Dark Knight is under Gladiator, then perhaos Riot Blade and Goring Blade are more prominent.
A Conjurer job that has Aeroga and Stonega, of a more offensive nature. Or call it Green Mage to throw in more melee survivability and an array of enhancement spells.
It's kind of hard to say now... I'm torn. I has no cookies and I hatez cheezeburgerz.
