I hope this isn't too much of a deal breaker for you.... because based off that announcement and other things they've done and will be doing, I think we're going to see this philosophy expanded into other roles. They had hinted with Shadowbringers that they wanted to create tank jobs that excel at main tanking and tank jobs that do the same at off tank. And with the expansion of melee DPS into 5 jobs, we could very easily see a split there as well with high damage melee (potentially samurai and monk) and high utility melee (historically this has been ninja and dragoon)
No confirmation exists on this of course. But wouldn't be too far fetched if they're going to create a big enough distinction on the jobs to even justify the difference in party finder to not extend that into the other roles.
