I'd be down for that. I'd also be down for more interactive and immersive side-quests that don't revolve on fetching things, but rather on learning about that particular part of the world, and playing out stories that are not necessarily linked to the MSQ. FFXIV doesn't feel like an open world to me because everything is very linear. You've got the msq, then courrier 'side quests', and I then guess beast tribes? But at the end of the day, the only thing that has an actual plot and characters you can get attached to is the MSQ. Maybe in 7.0 + you could just adventure, do quests all over the world without a specific order, and slowly build the bigger picture of the new plot.
What about levels? When is the cap the ultimate cap? :P It is realistic to aspire to level 200?
The only other MMO I've ever played is ORS/RS3, and I've also never capped anything on there, so if anyone else could enlighten me on how the other old classic MMOs keep progressing with time... Is there ever a limit in sight? I'm curious.
