Please fix the “naked queueing” for Aliance Raids

Because I've been playing for a long time right now and I like joining enjoyment to useful.
Results right now, I don't queue for the alliance roulette anymore because I'm bored to do this content. I wouldn't mind if the roulette was actually a real roulette. It's not anymore.

First of all how can they even do this, let alone prevent people from disequipping(they may fix this, but they wont fix THIS)or equipping low level gear to enter content that is i level locked. Also, many great points about the exp gain in comparison. Just like main scenario, the exp gain would have to be worth it for people to join something that would take double the time worst case scenario.

tbh the solution is simple, just increase exp for higher level alliance raids. it may cause people to drop out of crystal tower though, depending on the difference.

And people would stop queuing for it if pushed into the higher raids. On many of my alts I don't even bother unlocking the higher raids it's not worth my time. You want it fixed adjust the exp earned in the higher raids. One can see all the drops with Castrum because they didn't get Praetorium. Incentivize it and people will do it.

Furthermore get into the habit of checking your party makeup you'll find 90 percent of the time there is a 50 level in it.

I'm there for the exp and I'm more than happy to get LOTA.

Can't win can you but yeah this will most likely start to happen. They need a 50/60 and 70/80 Alliance which would help with appropriate exp rewards.

I'm however pointing out that the roulette lost a bit of its meaning and I was replying to the question "why would anyone want that", because, yes, I'm among those people who like my roulette to be more than just xp.

Yeah well first of all, those raids are required now, as per troll thread about them. Second of all people of path of least resistance route is 100%, and third of all, i am only signing up for exp on an alt job. IDGAF if its syrcus, lota, wod, dun scath, or whatever. But id prefer lota if the exp gain isnt that different. So A - make a seperate roullette, so you "glam chasers" can find your perfect glam, and B give us more exp for signing up for higher difficulty raids, so that YOU GLAM CHASERS can get your damn "glam on". And WE(pretty much most of the people doing this daily) can level. which is why we even bother. Puppets 1x a week is enough for most of us btw the rest of the those that like these will have to have a serious talk with the pvp crowd, when it comes to content that...just...doesnt...quite....hit, the majority of the playerbase.

Then you're free to directly queue for the Alliance raids you'd rather be doing. Nothing says you need to use Alliance roulette. After all, you just want to have fun with the mechanics. You're not after maximum efficiency.

You don't get to make that decision for other players.

The requirement for gearing up should be every slot full. With all gear being min ilevel if you are using the roulette function.

I can queue on one of my alts that has a 484 ilvl on the only job leveled past 42 and you're still going to end up in one of the Crystal Tower raids if you're placed in the same group with her.

Why?

Because I never bothered to unlock the other Alliance raid series on that character.

Another one of my alts is at a 491 ilvl on her best geared max level job. But if I queue Alliance Roulette on her, it's going to be on her SAM that's only level 57. You're still going to end up in Crystal Tower if you're matched to her group. She hasn't unlocked Sky Pirates either so you'd be stuck with Crystal Tower until she reached 70 on SAM (she did do Ivalice).

There's more to the roulette issue than players cheesing ilvl. There's which raids they've bothered to unlock and which ones people are directly queuing for. The roulettes exist primarily to help fill groups for those who are direct queuing (usually for first time progression in the raid series though sometimes for glamour or minions).

The Sky Pirates series gates nothing. The Ivalice series only gates access to ShB relic weapons, and not every player is interested in the relic weapon grind.

Crystal Tower, on the other hand, now gates basic MSQ progression for every single character who wants to progress out of ARR into HW, or wants to do the 5.3 MSQ if they had past out of ARR before the change was implemented.

The ilvl cheese isn't accomplishing anything 80% of the time because those players are ending up where they would have been regardless.

I'd rather they fix the insane item level sync in the Crystal Tower raids. Labyrinth is intended to challenge fresh level 50s in their first artifact gear at item level 50-ish, but we get synched to 130. It destroys any challenge not aimed directly at basic player competence (things like the platforms on the Atomos and Phlegethon, or hiding behind the rocks on King Behemoth). I'd certainly enjoy the raids more if they were less of a broken faceroll.

Youre usually the voice of reason on these forums. I dont see it changing anything at all. i90 was already overkill for lota. it gave i80 catch up gear for alt jobs primarily. all of these alliance raids, are designed for filler gear, when they are relevant. Believe it or not....even puppets...is filler gear. Not quite tome gear, but not even upgradable...you see the theme here? its been around since 2.0
Since ARR all alliance gear is catch up, not nearly as good as current tome gear, and cannot be upgraded to such. That is literally all it has ever been for nearly 10 years now.
