A bit of a rant about Make It Rain and All Saints Wake

I can totally understand that covid19 has undoubtedly had impacts on the FFXIV team and was bummed to see All Saints Wake not making an appearance, but think this is entirely understandable.

Make It Rain does feel disappointing though. I don't remember how last events were, but it's a little disheartening to a) see that the emotes etc that have been there for a while receive no discount and b) see items that could have been recycled (if only to make up to lack of content) make it to the cash shop.

I do realise there's precedence for point B because pretty much all seasonal items make it to the cash shop, but it just feels especially :/ to me given there's not really anythign to make up for what we're missing this year, at least as far as halloween items go. We sure can get the option to pay more money, though...

Yoship keeps everything on a schedule. Covid disrupted that schedule. to keep the train going on time certain things got dropped. it's unfortuante but it happens.

Either that or trying to wind this game down for some reason. There are definitely some questions on the amount of content we get compared to the attention there was in the past that need answers.

hairstyle is my complaint. showed up in what, 2 events? and never again. seriously wtf. but it is a kinda boring event.

I have to agree that the event is pretty underwhelming. They could have at least put some of the Halloween stuff on an MGP vendor and put the Halloween decorations up in the cities instead of the gaudy Make It Rain ones. I wasn't expecting much but this still managed to disappoint.

Been waiting for that hairstyle for 2 years now, what the hell. :(

Anyone else annoyed that the same day we get an event will no substantial rewards they went and dropped more over price glamours in the Mogstation? Like they don't have time to make any rewards yet they some how are right on track with Mogstation drops? Maybe they should have added the new items to this event since the were unable to make anything else.

Everyone complaining about that hairstyle.
And here I am getting no Senor Sabotender Chakrams for my DNC.

Seems a bit odd to me.

Hmmm FF11 is pretty much dead and only has baby updates anyway. So it's understandable that it doesn't miss a beat. All the updates are from the smallest team ever. Not a fair to XIV to compare it to it's barely on life older brother. And Wow has alot of other issues then being delayed a simple 2 weeks. So ye--ah those two examples aren't really doing you any favors to throw hate and anger at SE.
