When 2.0 Comes Out, Put everyone back in Noobville!

If they reset my character to lvl 1 I and many people would quit and never look back.

OP you are free to delete and restart a new character on a new world in 2.0 though :D

I think he/she meant that SE made leveling classes in FFXI easier when SE increase the level cap. Not that SE reset all the levels back to 1.

If SE rolls us back to level 1 (which will not happen), when you come home I'll be under your bed >)

Did i say that i was more skilled? No.

Hard working? Probabally. Given that I have completed a much larger % of this game than you have, suggests that i AM more hard working than you are. And I don't think thats unfair to state that, given the hours I and many others put in to get so far.

What would be unfair, is to robbed of all that time/energy/effort, especially when we were promised it wouldn't be taken away.

No but they did render most of the lv-75 era useless in less than a year.

oh, the lvl 39 guy wants all the people who have been playing for almost 2 year to be equal to him, good luck with that.

Resetting everyone to level 1 would pretty much be a punishment to all the players who stuck it out during 1.0 and monetarily supported this game during the pay to play period.

"Thanks for helping us make FF14 2.0 what it is today! But...you're going to start out at level 1. LULZ! Have fun."

Anyway there will be most likely dedicated world to fresh players, so nothing prevents OP to just restart at level 1, with PS3 and new PC players.

Se already said they would have fresh start servers for people that want them, this guy probably feels left out since hes only lvl 39 and wants everyone to be = to him.

It is true that if whenever 2.0 Launches, if they fail to bring a LOT of new players in then the game will have a very hard time or even fail, no matter how good it is. If 70% of the population is close to 50 then the few left will have a hard time finding someone to play with and that will turn off a lot of new players.

Unless.... They can make soloing a lot better and more fun. If i can get by myself to 50, without grinding the same stupid leves over and over then it should be fine. But i have big doubts on this one, as from what i've seen in XI and XIV so far, soloing is still way behind all the other mmos.
