Hunts and Trains; please fix the Hunts!

Easy big brain solution, do hunts without the train.

The mayhem is why I even do hunts. I don't want to deal with the Great Mighty Poo and die die die between a group of 8 people. It feels good seeing that HP go down the drain.

The thing is, almost no one does hunts without a train anymore because everyone got used to the easy flow. And the majority of people will use the way with least resistence.

A ranks can be usually done with a party of 8 and you can call to your linkshells/FC/area. Yeah it’ll take longer then usual but mission accomplished either way.

And they spawn every hour. If you can play XIV for even 2 hours a day, you're guaranteed to get some in.

Which is the problem for a lot of people - they don't want to spend 8-10 minutes for 10 Allegory, 20 Phantasmagoria, 30 Poetics and 40 Sacks of Nuts when they can spend 20 minutes and get 120 Allegory, 240 Phantasmagoria, 360 Poetics and 480 Sacks of Nuts.

No, they don't. HW/SB/ShB Rank As have a 4-6 hour respawn timer. If you're only playing two hours a day, you can miss out even with world visit depending on when the trains were run.

Thing is, if you do A ranks separately, you're screwing a train for hundreds of people.

Hunts were not designed for hundreds of people.

They should just remove the tome upgrades from the nut rewards.


Serious people have been at 500 ilvl for ages anyway, and other players can just run the weekly nier to upgrade.

I miss the days where I would shout an A or S rank and the people would come. It was always very exciting when I found one :D Now its like why bother calling it? nobody will come. This community really know how to suck the fun out of things and make things "convenient"
