What do you mean "poorly"? All of the outcomes look like best-case scenarios to me, considering that all 3 of the proposed ideas realistically had much higher chances of simply leading nowhere.

As much as I wanted Bert to win, I wouldn't say the event was terrible just because he lost.
I think the main thing is that there was an expectation from a lot of people that this event would end with Ywain finding a partner that shared his interests, rather than what it actually was: a gag wherein a literal child and two goofballs have to find a romantic partner for a guy whose dating interests could basically be summed up as "I'unno".
I agree, i dont see why this is becoming such a big deal.
Each NPC had a color variation, people picked the color they wanted, as this is the normal thing on every mmo with seasonal events.
the minority was interested in the story, thats fine, but the outcome wouldnt change anything, just different decoration and...thats it.
Even more so when you consider every previous Valentione's event establishes just how poorly all of the involved characters really understand relationships. Of course every outcome was going to end poorly. The whole shtick of these events is that they're all clueless.
And amazingly, its still the same person (or two) stirring the pot more than everyone else every time they have a reset post count.Quote:
