I do sometimes :(

my choice is the main character and then everyone has to create another level 1 character in the next expansion.

Main characters don't die much in generic Jrpg, it's more western thing to kill characters left and right without even building proper connection between player/reader.

I get really tired of Thancred's temperamental moping and general moodiness but I don't know if I want to actually kill him off, he is useful for tanking trusts.
