My shelf of 'I need more shelves' - for now it's movies, books and collectables... mostly.
I picked up the CE for about £20 off ebay unopened so I can't really complain, all it really does is collect dust though, opened it and watched the making of DVD but other than that... just looks pretty. -

What do any collectables do, other than collect dust. It's a limited edition of something that you purchase just to say you have it. You put it away somewhere safe, or on display, and it collects dust.
Is there another type of collectable memorabilia that performs tricks or has a constantly relevant function that others don't?
Its hard to say FFXIV's CE was crap, its pretty much a standard video game CE. -

The Final Fantasy XIV C.E. was crap. It came with a making of DVD that was comprised of videos already on Youtube for the most part, the "Art book" isn't even an Art book but rather a small journal to put notes in, the token is useless because I have one already. I think we also remember how the game turned out at launch too. It was just a massive waste of like $86. The week early access, ans the semi-useless Onion Helm were alright though.
I really like my Final Fantasy XIII-2 C.E. though so I forgave them. -
