Well yeah, they are never going to satisfy everyone regardless of what they do.

I just recently witnessed a “Boob VS Butt” debate in Limsa on my server, and one of them admitted they make fun of people in support of butt sliders on the forums because they are more of a “boob guy.”

I actually lost it, lol. Don’t see those kinds of conversations in the game everyday.

Honestly, I'd rather they fix the legs, arms, shoulders, and face geometry. Who has legs that angular with a clear octagonal or hexagonal shape to them? And the shoulders look bizarre in some poses.

I personally want more facial options for all races in the character customization screen. Like, Lyse’s In-game face....I think it looks great. It’s really a shame we can’t look like that.

Yeah, I'd like Hien's face...or at least his stubble/hairstyle.

I fear we'll soon reach a point where NPC's look so much better than player characters. I'd argue we're already there, though.

As one person pointed out, the NPCs are designed to look that way.
I think its natural. But doesn't bug me, I think my Main and my ALt look just as good

That's exactly how these unique NPCs are generated also btw. Someone long ago made a sheet of all the attributes of all the NPCs. And it showed which NPC was using Face 1-4 for example for Elezens. In Aymeric's case, it showed his face was a custom one with a different number (205 if I remember correctly) and it also showed what kind of hair, hair color, nose, mouth was assigned to him. The same with Lucia and Raubahn and other unique NPCs.

The faces of these NPCs could be a single mesh, but they still required to assign attributes to them for other parts according to what race and gender they were assigned to.

I don't feel Yoshida is being dismissive. I think he's saying it would be too hard to add a true butt slider to FFXIV. He is open to the idea of designing specific gear for players who want shapely buttocks.

This is a good compromise. It's easier to do and it gives the community what it wants.

Yeah, but where is the talk of male butt sliders or male enhanced buttocks gear? :confused:

The best part of the LL was just how much time Yoshida dedicated to talking about our characters rears. I'm honestly kind of shocked it was mentioned at all to be honest, It was highly entertaining.
