You may want to check out Ugly Duckling, Mameshiba/Black Hayate and Capybara Pup (there may be more you may like, as there are a lot of birds/chocobos who could fill in the spot for "goose/duck of sorts" or things like the Tiny Tapir which may or may not some sort of hamster.)

Hoping they'll make the most basic machine model from Nier Automata a minion from the Nier raid.

The little guys were made for it.

Came to say this too. How on earth did we have a DQ crossover event and not get a slime minion! The sheer audacity! You could even do that thing they like to do in events where the regular reward is a regular slime but the hardcore I-did-the-event-till-my-fingers dropped-off-reward is a metal slime.
