Uh, if I don't want to wear a seat belt I'm not forced to. Plus, a seat belt is something I apply, there is no 3rd party that applies the seat belt against my will. Sure, there are penalties if law enforcement notice, and more dire consequences if there is an accident involved.
Okay *gigglefits* I will admit that I have used Superbolide on purpose just to see if a healers paying attention to whats going on rather than staying in lala land. But I can honestly say there's been several times where its meant the difference between a wipe or a win. I've not generally seen it used outside of such a way or even used it outside such a way but then again I'm either generally healing or tanking or if I'm really bored dpsing.
I think the better idea would be to give it a 20% dmg reduction for a few seconds, like 3-6s. Single target. Or even a nullify next hit or something.
I've personally never had it used on me in a helpful manner. Usually when a healer tries to be 'helpful' they use it on me when I'm mid combo/rotation and it screws it up. Either I've chosen to eat the hit (in non-current content that doesn't hit as hard) and I'll just potion myself, or I'll jump/teleport out myself. In either case, I'd prefer the healer stay on the tank or do damage. And then my buddy who normally tanks, usually gets it cast on them about one out of three dungeons, and its always to the detriment of the group since it causes boss to cleave or pull the boss out of position. He knows when to run out of AoE last second and back in (as a tank is supposed to) and he knows which AOEs he can just cooldown through if needed.
It seems like the majority of time the healers that use this ability are not well versed in the game and how other classes operate. Decent healers I've never seen use unless its someone I know and they're trolling a friend.
A healer 'rescue' me while I playing as tank was trying to grab a stray add that was targeting a range DPS simply because I'm not in Asylum(Provoke wasn't ready). The healer was acting like a :mad::mad::mad: earlier too, I should have known.

Guys, I found a way to stop rescue as a tank.
We're all saved.
Nah. It's a great move. I use it frequently to pull people who would otherwise die from a basic mechanic (average of 90% I've noticed on Crystal).
I think Rescue is a really powerful tool in the hands of a good healer. Otherwise though, I get the feeling that ‘trolls’ will find a way to disrupt other people’s gameplay with or without Rescue
That would defeat the purpose of rescue
