Of the posts I have read so far there is one post by MementoR on the thread specific to DRK issues. It raises a number of the common problems with DRK outside of TBN and BW. It's a start if you want to read it and give it a like - page 3/28.
It is possible to disagree with parts of what he said about the past iteration and agree with the current issues.
If you're going to forcing me to back up his statement then I'd say, compared to HW DRK, there are many that would agree with him. I don't personally agree regarding the AoE rotation of SB, but as far as single target goes I believe many would agree. He probably shouldn't have generalized or should have left that part out entirely since it doesn't help to move the ball forward if you're rhetorically slapping your primary audience in the face from the get-go.
Either way, he is correct about the current issues, so I'm not going to get hung up on the first couple lines. Afterall, people are passionate about their favorite jobs. It's easy to get carried away even when you try to edit that stuff out.

Yes there were people that asked for more use of dark arts and when people got it and saw that it didn't work,you know what they did for fix it? Jackshit.
Over having been robbed of many unique abilities for the cross class actions that automatically lost their original purpose and utility we got a series of mediocre skills that got somewhat not terrible during 4.x cycle and you know what they did in the end?
They said "fuck all this shit let's give them warrior gameplay, everybody like warrior ".
So yes heavensward was superior in every aspect.
Stormblood was a mess that they didn't bother fix.
And shadowbringers is simply an insult to dark knight players
his concerns are more about numbers of certain skills and living dead witch i mostly agree and stuff like SB that i don't agree at all, he didn't mention the new WAR gameplay style witch i address my self in a general question for the devs in the page 5 pointing specially to delirium wich i wish they rework soon.

Major overhauls to skills likely just will not happen, so simple changes are what we should try and focus on if we want to get somewhere.
Here are a few simple and realistic changes that would make DRK more competitive. I have listed these in order of what I consider the most important:
1) Increase DRK DPS through potency buffs: It is completely unacceptable that DRK has the lowest DPS output of the 4 tanks. That spot should belong to PLD when considering complete kits. DRK should be just behind or even with WAR IMO
2) Remove the mana cost on TBN, remove Dark Arts entirely, and increase the TBN CD to 25 seconds. This will eliminate the issues with TBN being a damage loss when the shield does not break, while also bringing it in line with other short CD tank abilities (Shelltron, Raw Intuition, and Heart of Stone)
3) Change Dark Mind to be 10% physical damage reduction and 20% magic damage reduction. This will help Dark Mind not be completely useless against physical damage, while still keeping the "magic tank" identity that SE thinks is important. It will also help to offset the defense loss that increasing TBN CD to 25 seconds will create.
4) Make Living dead only require 50% health regain instead of 100% and do not remove the status until the 10 seconds are up. This simple fix doesn't solve many of the issues with Living Dead (like it being nonusable in solo content and it being really terrible compared to the other Invulns), but it does at least remove some of the burden on healers.
yeah i saw that but i will be extremly surprised if they change delirium and the resources gain rates, anyway im ready to make a new post bcs im sure they aren't going to do anything to fix the gameplay at all with DRK record.
