With different Chocobo classes, too! Wouldn't it be great to have a swarm of Red Chocobos dropping Meteors? And if it let me charge up a Limit Break solo, all the better!

A path companion? Forgive me, I learned about the game after stormblood released.

Otherwise, I wouldn't mind fighting with a wolf (primals or other) or a trained snake/bomb/pirate depending on what your GC is.

The job instructors or fellow "trainees". I'd love to use Mylla (from Gladiator's quests) or Sylpie (the former "problem child" of Conjurer's job quests) for example. Otherwise, I'd not say no to using our pets (like the various pups) in combat XD. Let me use them together with the Chocobo, but with "vanity damage", i.e. somthing to make them appear useful without any major impact or so!

Our pixie friend - They would be badass to fight along side with

I'd actually like a newbie recruit from our GC that could follow us and assist. Let us customize them look wise as well as class. Obviously limit the skills they can do probably but think it would be nice.

I would like to nab any of our Beast Tribe friends to help us in our fights!

Our retainers & squadrons are also good ideas to use in the battle.

It would be nice if you could make any Beastmen Tribe Mount you own (aside from non living creatures) as companions. They already have battle animations since they are all recolors of zone mobs. This would be fun and give a little different flavor to what we already have. Either this or one of our Trusts/Squadron members.
