I personally was aiming for Red XIII, and read some good ideas like someone was planning to make his character a moomba fro FF8. Such a wasted opportunity from SE part. I believe everyone who changed to Hrothgar at some point should get a free Fantasia. the race is alright but far from complete.

They seemed to rush Viera and the Ronso out the gate sadly.

There's no "Mary Jane" red hair, it's either orange-brown or magenta, and because Hroths have fur patterns instead of highlights you can't even blend it to make it look redder.

Also, I think if they toned down the hues of the yellow and red skintones of Helions they'd look better. Unless they really thought to see lots of Pikachus and Pink Panthers around...

My guess is that later down the road when we get more hairstyles they will make an option for Hrothgars to change them ingame.
More hairstyles to each face and they can make it possible to change between those hairstyles to your current face.

There's a difference between personal preference and facts bro.
From every Hrothgar exclusive animation and emote I've seen they've put great care and attention into them. Logically part of it is that the race DEMANDS large, expressive body language and being someone who animates I favor the big and expressive cause that shit is hard and I love it when I see it done well. Half the reason I went Hrothgar over Viera is because of this.

Hrothgar are dramatic AF and I love it! Might not be everyone's cup of tie but it's clear to me they put great amounts of time, thought and effort into them.
And it shows if you pay attention.

This could only happen if the new hairstyles would land into the fur pattern category, because as we know they dont have a hairstyle one and Yoshida already once said that its quite hard to just add new categories into the character customization. Also why not add them from the start? Because there might be players even now that would like to change their manes but they cant. (And they are also stuck with a certain face)
