I think the longest queue I've had was 30 minutes? And that was /right/ after a DDoS spike hit Crystal and kicked everyone off. It's actually be rather nice to not deal with the hassle of waiting in queue. Though I'm still laughing that up until the day before release people were saying that Balmung would have the longest queues and that everyone should log off on a Preferred World.

Some people in my FC said it got up to like 4000 during prime time last night...that's ridiculous. It was at 1700 a couple hours before prime time when I was logging in. With that said, I prefer being on high pop servers, because when the initial hype wears off, there will still be plenty of people around making the world feel alive.

I was prepared for the ques and I don't really mind them (I just go do chores or watch a movie or something), but I understand those who have limited time to play and I think the 30 minute afk timer is too long (and unfortunately very easy to bypass). 10 minutes should be enough.. I mean if the player goes to do something that takes longer than that why do they even need to stay logged in?

We shouldn't have to deal with ques at all.... This isn't their first expansion, them making us have ques that are taking hours is a disservice. I could see it having a que maybe the first day as everyone rushes in at one time to get on.... I am currently sitting at a que of 2,318....I am not even going to bother playing tonight. We shouldn't have to sit and wait an hour + to play a game we paid for.

I am seriously considering making this my last expansion I pay for this game....as much as I enjoy this game.... having to wait an hour + when i have limited time to play, is a disservice.

I think they mean the queue to get on to your original world, because you can't World visit until you get logged into the game.

you have to interact with the Aetherite at the main city to World visit.

2100 long queue on Cerberus yesterday. Took almost an hour to get in.

Used world visit to Spriggan. I hope the queue there is at least 400 or less.

Ragnarok & Cerberus are the two highest populated servers on Chaos though (& Moogle, but we don't talk about Moogle).

There were free transfers when they did the DC split where you could transfer for free to any other server.

Imo you shouldn't really complain when you had the option to go to small populated server for free not so long ago.

I am on Twintania and there's no queue at all, literally, at any time of the day. So I bet it's the same thing on Spriggan :)

Phoenix in queue 861, normally I don’t mind waiting but lost an half an hour logging in and another hour because dced in middle of a dungeon now won’t even get the rewards :-(
