Who hurt you, my child?
To be truly fair, final Nidhogg is the first time that the stack marker is used in main scenario content, since I hear that most new players blaze through the msq, ignoring all the old raids, alliance raids and ex primals nowadays, which is where the marker is used more frequently.
I was going to mention the same thing. So often I yell at my screen, "Are you TRYING to kill me!!" Sometimes I wish I can cast a knockback on a player. I actually don't find it that common for players to run towards the melees, so if I don't get a split damage marker, I tend to run to the bosses hitbox to avoid getting hit.
Also annoys the hell out of me when I get the split marker and everyone seems to think I have cooties are something, but it is definitely more common for someone to get a stack marker and run for the hills. Rescue is great for these occasions.
People like you. And I'm telling mommy. You've been registered on the forums two months before me. You know these forums used to be better, without the first page being filled with worthless threads.
Today, people will create a new thread every time the wind blows. And they will reach multiple pages in a few hours.
I simply can't see that complete lack of self-restraint and moderation to be a healthy environment to provide useful feedback. A lot of interesting stuff and ideas must fly under the CM's radar due to the enormous amount of worthless stuff thrown around.
The official forums are mocked and are considered a meme, firstly for the harsh ban habits of the mods, but now for its terrible content. People often complain that SE doesn't listen to them... but seeing what kind of useless threads get created on a daily basis, it should be time for people to realize that they have a responsability in the lack of interaction from SE on these platforms.
But it seems that, as I said in my previous post, it's probably too late and that nobody actually cares. Especially given the kind of answers I'm getting.
So, again, keep making these forums terrible, people. You're doing great.
With over 2000 pages and completely random discussions about duty finder. It's a thread started from 2015 no-less.
This thread was started with the sole purpose of educating players about how boss markers affect other players and what to do when you get them. But you know, we can have 10 threads if you want, each of them we can fill up with tens of thousands of replies. Would that be better for you?
The issue is people who don't pay attention to mechanics ever make it to endgame content and don't know the difference between any of the AoE markers and their icons which clearly show you what their result will be. People will just assume they run away with everything or they run to a party with everything there's almost no in between.
