It's pretty normal for game devs to spend weeks sleeping at the office during crunch time. I can only imagine it's much, much worse in Japan given their work culture.

Even if it’s normal it’s no reason not to appreciate the work/time they are putting in.

People who actually enjoy healing don't need a new shiny job o_o I admit I was disappointed Dancer is now a ranged DPS but in the grand scheme of things I do like healing as a WHM so it is not the end of the world :3

To be honest, I'd rather have the healer patched later in the expansion than having the whole thing delayed.

Yes, completely reasonable to delay the expansion by another year so you can have a new healer, that may turn out to be crap anyway, cause they rushed it.

Or, you could wait the 2 years it'll take for the expansion after to come around, which, statistically speaking, should have a healer.

its not selfish its reasonable and i said idc if it had to be delayed UP 2 A YEAR that meabs 1-12 months as needed... and no its not selfish when dps got 3 jobs in a roll 4 if you count blue ..... and yet healer get screwed over sorry but only ones who are selfish ARE THE DUMB DEVS GIVING DPS EVERYTHING DECENT OR COOL

Look. I wanted DNC to be a healer as much as anyone. I wanted to finally switch to a new role, and take a break from DPS (can't now because I want to play DNC more than switching to a new role, but it is what it is). But asking to delay 5.0? Please.

Despite my disappointment, I'm still wanting to see all the new areas and stuff the expansion is going to offer.

nah, they can add a healer later if they really want to, but i find it hard to believe there is much more they can do with healer, without changing some ff systems, or increasing healer complexity/difficulty
