I think Pagos is a lost cause and the devs know it. Hopefully there working on some sort of bypass to allow people to skip it. If not, then hardly anybody will see this great new content the devs are saying is coming. The Logos system and the final part of Eureka where they said will be like a massive open world dungeon will all be for naught.
Maybe a streamer will show us what it’s like if they can muster enough players.

Unless the NMs now give an amount where it's viable to farm the thing through them alone, I don't know how much it'll help. Correct me if I'm wrong, but any other method is gated behind RNG, no?

I have to agree with duskane on that one. I go in a few times a week and it is usually 70+ people and maxed during peak time. Before and after the patch. It is actually better now primarily because the max level dragon farmers are actually killing lower level NM's due to the higher light bonus.
The only part that sucks is the leveling, pagos crystal farm, and how long it takes to spawn Louhi. -

I was thinking it would be better if chain 10, 20, 30 gave guaranteed light to increase the reliable RNG-free progression methods, and for chain time limit to be longer so it's more realistic to reach chain 30 when solo or in a light party. Then light grind would not be so bad even if there's hardly any people around to help.
