The only time I see 'snowflakes' were the ones I met that happen to be other RPers. . .who have to much of an inflated importance of themselves.

This. The OF is where I go when I need a laugh and boy oh boy, does the OF never disappoint.

But to the OP's point, as someone who is older than the average gamer and has been gaming longer than most of the younger ones have been alive, there were most certainly snowflakes back then. The difference is now we live in an age of technology and a society that coddles such attitudes. So sure it's worse now, but it's certainly nothing new.
