Stating the same fact over and over doesn't make you any more awesome.

Actually, being so sure that it can be coded in so readily is ignorant. You seem to be suggesting that they are able to readily patch in such features that they have already accepted are vital to any MMO into FFXIV as it is now, but chose to put it off until 2.0 so they can put in fluff.
Now, unless you have some solid coding experience to back you up, don't bother making ignorant statements that ironically call others ignorant. Especially when the people with coding experience have already acknowledged the ass-backwards way FFXIV was coded could very well lead to such hassles and limitations that SE claims to be having with their current structure.
The difference between 2.0 and any 1.2X patch leading up to it is that while the 1.2X patches attempt to satisfy the players with as much as they can cost-effectively fix on the current disaster of a structure, 2.0 solves the major problem which is the structure. The idea is with a new engine and much more flexible coding as well as new servers they will be able to very comfortably incorporate many vital features that seem simple and small to us.
TBH I would rather wait 10 months and have a decent mail system than the horrendous trash that FF11 had.
I'm not "mad" at anything. They overcomplicated the game from the start. Even if he was forced to push it faster. Nobody liked the idea of these new classes. Everyone wanted their monk, warrior, dragoon, summoner, ect... Why go through all the trouble to make theses jobs what they did. Same reason, why do they need to rename every race? Whats the point? There isn't one, which pisses me off to no end. There's a reason people have followed the classic final fantasies from the beginning. We love the job system that they've always had and always followed. Why stray from it now when you've been so successful before? It's stupid marketing for one. And the beginning of a bad game.
I'd rather wait 10 months for many changes rather than force them into implementing them now. Look at the market wards. On paper a simple feature like Item Search and buying from a menu seems simple enough. It took them 2-3 major patches to fix it as much as they have now - which still is less than optimal and runs at a glacial pace.
Fact of the matter is, when they say things cannot be done with the current server structure they really mean it would be a huge hassle with all the workarounds and hoops they'd have to go through to get even basic, bare-bone functionality in and even then it would be all glitchy. For the MW they had to make an exception, because it is an absolutely essential piece of the game that they could not hope to charge any amount of subscription without having it working.
So yes, I'd rather wait until 2.0 for them to easily implement much more functional features rather than spend much more time and resources now trying to implement what would end up being a bad imitation at best.
