I dunno why you guys are hoarding jerky since they are sold by NPCs and probably are going to have crappy effects after this patch >.> (if they don't become "dated" like someone said... if they do become dated they probably won't get the XP bonus?).
With rested XP and a good meal leveling up crafts/gathering classes seems slightly less arduous.
This Medicine overhaul is a pretty epic Fail. The best thing to happen to Medicine since launch was the dramatic reduction in Medicine Recast timer and now the are going to make them stupidly long again? Yoshida must be BiPolar or something. He keeps approving changes that change changes he already approved that made the game better.
Worse yet, ALL medicine is going to be on a single recast timer? WTF is that? I could see all Status heals on one timer, all potions on one timer, all ethers on one timer. But ALL medicine on one timer? Are you serious?
That is the worst logic i have ever seen in my Life. Making Super Powerful Potions that can only used once every god knows how many minutes makes them useless. The only people who are going to use these are Stupidly Elitist Linkshells that require members to carry them into every event just for the sake of being Elite. Every fight in this game is to easy to require these Kind of potions. On top of that, the Ridiculously strict Stat caps that are in this game will cause these potions to do practically nothing.
Medicines Should be designed for casual and solo players. They should be a reasonable alternative to equipping cure and protect on your Melee Class.
Most importantly, there is no reason for EVERY medicine to share a recast timer. That makes absolutely no sense. If you can't use more than one medicine what is the point of having them?
