I want a Shape shifer class.. shape shift into a Marmot and give those adventurers hell!
While its certainly been in several FF's, to my knowledge it has never been a playable class unless you count the dude that used to be one from FF12. I would love to see a judge class. Although, to be honest, besides murdering innocents by the busloads and wearing some sweet ass armor, I don't really know what skills they have. Still though! I am all for it.
I would also love to see the chemist from tactics become a class again if only to give a purpose behind all the potions we have in game right now that no one uses.
My apologies in advance to the Op for 2 ideas that are completely unoriginal.
how come when i read this the people who mistakenly mention classes in other ff games, sound more appealing?
Greatsword class (Landsknechte)
strengths: Faster attack speed than mrd, able to half-sword for greater accuracy+piercing dmg, skilled at parrying.
Weaknesses: dmg is lower than mrd, no shield.
Jobs: Samurai (lose halfswording, but gain counter attack/zanshin skill, access to exclusive great katanas)
Dark Knight (gain High-dmg abilities like Soul Eater, limited use of black magic like Scourge)
Calculator class would be fun, if they could make a job revolve around numbers.
You could advance job it as Astrologist or Numerologist.
I know its silly, but any class that uses a whip would be entertaining.

I completely lol'd at this. Not that I should have been reading it at work in the first place. >.>
Mounted Knight
We've seen some in cut-scenes (don't know if I can use this word for the old games...) in several FF now and I always wanted to fight from my choco
