I just think it's ironic/funny the boots are "Raptor-Skin" yet they look more like bunny fluff and skin. Not only is he stuck with pink but the boots aren't even "bad ass" looking so he can try to play it off.

Fun Fact: Sometimes when games label something as 'Red' or 'Black' it ends up as Pink or Purple. Remember back in the day Black Chocobos were clearly Purple?
While I'd prefer Red Red over Light Red aka Pink, it's always fun how games end up doing things like this, especially due to the fact they changed/removed the actual pink color and didn't really switch things over to reflect the new texture >.>
I'm a little surprised nobody else has said this, but the problem is that the boots use linen as the cloth material. 'Red' linen is pink! The use of cloth doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me in this outfit. The culottes use wool, the jerkin uses felt, and the workboots use linen. Why not all wool or all felt? The colors would also be consistent this way, because one consequence of different cloth materials is that none of these have the same set of colors available.
I ended up just making a blue pair to fish in... but yea... still amuses me

Yeah OP. I feel your pain. My blue felt bracers are wjite felt bracers with a touch of blue on them. For a game that is supposed to have good grapgics, they sure screwed up the look of color in alot of gear.

PINK IS NOT LIGHT RED.
These are two entirely different colors. Same with Magenta and Fuschia.

Light Red? Really guise? LIGHT RED? I see a whole LOT of "LIGHT REDS' and 'LIGHT BLUES' and 'LIGHT GREENS' in thur but I'm pretty sure a five year old could tell you each one has a different name, like PINK.
You know what, screw Purple; Let's just get red of that word and call it REDISH BLUE while we're at it, seeing as that IS what it IS.
Was there a point to that, besides some kind of ultra-nerdy gripe about how people were talking about pink and red being remotely similar?
