Lalafell are commendation magnets, female ones doubly so.

I tested by intentionally playing poorly through all the solo content.

Still never even close to failing. I had to actively try to play horrible (I was a drg, I had to spam an end combo ability for things to be too difficult.)

This thread should probably be renamed to "Murphy's Law: ffxiv edition" ;p

I'll second about the A and S rank hunts - I've lost the heart to attempt to do them anymore.

it's more a joke on how players keep saying everything is so easy, but in the next breath complain the average player is no good. I mean...if the average player can't do something, it's not easy its hard.

Yeah I mean... pretty much any game will be easy if you put 1000+ hours into it, which I imagine most people here have.

Lets rephrase it then: The game is not punishing in the slightest, and does a poor job of training a player to deal with punishing content

Anything connected to story is easy though.

It's the unwritten rule that the story must be easy so everyone can enjoy it. Again, I did have to actively try to fail anything in the story.

Here's a frontlines one. If you aren't playing healer, the alliance will have no healers. If you do play healer, every alliance group suddenly has at least 4.

Running low level dungeons...
Free Cure 2 never procs when heal is needed, but always do after the last cure topped the tank to 100%.
