Well I can give an opinion on this.

It is totally true! You can wear anything simply for fun or because you feel it "looks good" on your character and it doesn't have to be in a sexual way.

As a straight female who plays a female character I wear things I like and/or things I think looks good on my character.

Since I am a straight female I am not attracted to my character in a sexual way so therefore anything I wear I chose for other reasons and I have wore the bunny suit in the past as a glam around when it came out.

I have glamoured bikinis/swimsuits sometimes too! It isn't because I want to sexualize my character...I just like doing whatever I feel like and if it looks good to me or I like the design or colours then I go for it. I mean I wear bathing suits in real life to go swimming...it seems normal for me? It isn't about bedroom activities.

My choices have nothing to do with how others may perceive my character...I just do what I find fun and what I feel like doing for my character's glam. Maybe like a few times I glam things that my boyfriend would like just for fun, but 90% of the time? It's my own choices and has nothing to do with trying to be sexy.

So, no, saying no self-respecting woman can wear this glamour in a fantasy video game is taking this way too seriously. It's a game and I think bunnies are cute since I was like 5 years old and had no idea what play boy was.

Drawing porn and being prudish don't exactly go hand in hand though. And normally people who draw porn have good taste so it makes your issues even weirder, oh well, to each their own~

Remember currently around 50% of video gamers are female video gamers. Let them have some fun as well.

It honestly gets a bit dull when majority of fanservice goes into female characters only resulting in a lot of detailed outfit designs being exclusive to female characters.

Honestly why does it matter? I remember most people wanted the ears anyways and it's something for the men to grind out if they want it. I just appreciate that it's just in time for Make it Rain. I got the set from last year and am glad to see the dev team deliver on a promise made years ago. (granted we pestered the hell out of them to do it)

Its one thing to be upset you can’t wear the butler set, but pretending that both imbalances are on equal footing is silly.

You're always complaining females chars are privileged because the males can't wear the slutwear, but meanwhile all the armors have been designed with males in mind first, with huge shoulders on tanks, the pvp dragon sets on women are a joke and every af since hw has been for males first, excluding healers, no more cleavage, belly windows or sexy pants like female ninja af1, af2-3 had the same baggy pants as the men, it is also especially apparent on all the FFT and TO outfits that are just the men versions for both genders because they're too lazy to make them look different, it is extremely frustrating to know that if one day we get FFT or TO knight it would be the male version, not the female version I love, give me an armored dress dammit, we already lost TO valkyrie to 69 dungeon rune fencer and enchantress to valerian wizard, the doman steel tabard should have 2 versions, Oz and Ozma, that look really similar, but women get Oz instead of Ozma because???? and the rare times they use a female set they make it gender neutral, they took FFT female samurai and removed the cleavage for men, didn't give it back to women.

1. The lore sets would like to say hello with their cleavage on tanks and some melees.
2. a lot of sets do differentiate between the genders, the recent WHM AF is a good example, they're just not going to do it for every dungeon set and I kind of get that.

And it's hardly just the "slutwear" (can we stop calling it that), it's the fact that in the recent raid series, the redhead girl got a brand new dress that can eventually make it into the game as glamour while both guys received existing gear-sets for clothes. It's Lyse getting two outfits and Yotsuyu existing while the guys have only, what, Hien's outfit to look forward to? Will they give us Gosetsu's? That's still 2-3. And the less spoken about the battle-worn Hildy outfit added to the mogshop, the better. Meanwhile I'll be over here, trying to decide which pair of Generic Pants™ to wear.
Should the AF1 DRG set have its belly covered for both men and women? Absolutely yes! Should they take the difference in figures into consideration more when alternating sets? Yes! The bow on this very bunny suit is a good example as it doesn't work on the guys as well as it does on bossom'd ladies. But that's a separate problem from the inequality Rokke brought up, and the two should not be used to beat each other down, especially since they both stem from the same root cause.
