4.3 Thread... everything but the app

I'm actually rather psyched for 4.3. NAMAZU QUESTSSSSSSS. Lots of crafter and gatherer goodies in general. Looking forward to that DoH/DoL side quest they said would run parallel to the raid story. And if the new deep dungeon is half the success PotD was, it'll be wonderful ♥

As for job adjustments, two things I want to see are some improvements to AST's MP management (you need to sacrifice either a card or a buffing cooldown to keep your own MP afloat while the other healers have much better alternatives that work WITH them actually performing their duties) and DRK being a bit less squishy against physical damage. Anything else, we'll see.

I'm looking forward to healing a new raid without a guide for once. Always wanted to enjoy things where no one knows what to expect. I also can't wait to leave messages in my friend's guest books lol.

I'm kind of dreading what will be left in mine...though currently my house is locked as it's still a massive WIP.

PotD, Hildibrand, the new Ultimate and even Eureka will come out later. So they are not directly part of 4.3. What seems to be left is story, one dungeon, one trial and the 24 man raid. (And beast tribe if you are leveling crafter/gatherer) I read slowly through the story, talk to a lot of NPCs inbetween and yet the story normaly only takes a few hours. A dungeon run takes maybe 40 min. max if its new and you wipe, the same with the trial. The only part that will probably take much longer will be the 24 man raid. You would really need to force yourself to one hour a day to not get that done in a week.

I do look forward to finally using the glamour dresser since we can take stuff out of it. And later I look forward to the new deep dungeon. I do hope that they surprise us with something really great in there and that floor 31+ is still doable solo.

Eh...the biggest benefit was using them to level, otherwise its just a much slower and less efficient scrip grind for mats and the rare mount/glamour. A lot of the things tey release in 4.3 were better suited for 4.1 imo

I want to see what they do to the next deep dungeon. :D I'm only a monk still in training so I can't solo the first one yet. I hope that doesn't make my hope for the new one invalid :c

I'm not saying that it's impossible to do in a few hours, just saying that it does ultimately come down to how fast each individual decides to go through it all. I personally would love for there to be more that comes with each patch, but realistically know that it won't happen unless they get much more staff on it so that nothing else needs to be pushed back/set aside for much later.

But it doesn't require your own mats, unlike the other forms of crafting, and as I hate CUL crafting with a passion, it's perfect for me. Also I always do the beast tribe quests first and foremost for the stories, and am rather fond of the catfish. Basically using them to level is the last reason why I'm looking forward to them.

Forcing people to level through actual crafting rather than let them power through a crafting beast tribe quest that mostly lets you cheese it is a wise decision on SE's part. This still holds even with people who'd level their crafters after this is released because by then there'd be guides and people would know how to hold their hammers right. All reasons why it makes sense they released the Moogles at 3.3. Also, given how crafting is still less widespread than battle, the Kojin and Ananta took precedence. I also dare say MSQ wise it ties in better because Ananta were relevant to the initial Gyr Abania story, the Kojin to the Ruby Sea saga, and now that we're working through the Doma arc, we get the Namazu.
tl;dr I don't see an issue with this decision. What else do you think should've been released earlier, other than maybe the deep dungeon?
