And no welcome-bot, so we can discretely sneak into it. I was a bit concerned about this, but all good!

There was some discussion about that when first setting up. I'm glad to hear we ended up at the right decision in not having one.

The moderators and admins do see who has entered the Discord (for obvious reasons). But general members do not see this (to allow you to discretely sneak in past most people). Staff also have a code of conduct that we do not call out players until they are ready to say their piece (since we see who joins). Dependent on what happens though, we may need to issue a welcome-bot that welcomes you via DM. We have been attacked in the past on our servers so dependent on how things go, we may have to consider verification.

I would like to take the opportunity to get this bumped up, for those who may have missed the initial announcement.

Could be a good way to run content for those of us who find pugs and duty finder too stressful. It's always much easier in a group with likeminded players who actually understand anxiety, don't mind mistakes (most likely too busy worrying about our own) and who won't rush, pressure or judge you. How is the cross-world linkshell system for things like that? (Haven't looked into how it works myself)

Sorry. I totally missed this while working on the new patch. For the most part, we've all just hung out and chatted at all times. Personally, I haven't played with the cross world linkshell yet. But could be something we'll implement if enough folks want it.

Just so you guys know, this Discord is still going, and may prove useful for people. It's not too big a Discord either, but it is friendly. If you want a laid-back judgment free environment (along with a jester), this is the place for you.

(N.B. Intentional necro, figured it'd be useful for people to be made aware of it now that a major patch has dropped, could be some returning players wanting in, and the name isn't the most obvious for searching)
