Well done SE, this is one of the best April fools jokes yet ^^ It plays so well into my dislike of selfie sticks.

I laughed so hard, I have tears.

To be honest, when I saw this in my e-mail I thought it was about that retainer management app they were planning on doing for a while now.

Now I'm kinda sad. Only kinda, the April Fools' video was great.

Why is this april fools? I would love this.

So i figured out it was pretty much an april fools things when the stick part started but is the gathering thing real? I mean they showed it right on the phone so unless they programmed a program to just show that on the phones screen in the video i feel like its actually part of the real app? Or maybe i'm reading too much into it. I feel like only half the video was april fools while the first have was sorta legit advertising for the official app. Either i'm stating the obvious or they got me good lol. All i really knew about the app before was that it was supposed to have in game chat on it or something.

Not necessarily. The magic of post video editing. The phones could just be displaying a solid color screen, probably blue considering, for filming. Then in post they can replace the blue screens with other videos, animations, still images, w/e to make it look like a program was actually being displayed.
