Why do people dislike Goblet?

If the Goblet is so disliked, maybe I'll get my first house there. Then I can move to a plot in the Mist later when an opportunity presents itself.

Goblet is kinda meh for me. I don't care much for the bland, brownish colors and the house interiors, but I really like the Brimming Hearts area. The sunsets there are nice too.

Like pretty much the majority here, I also don't care about the bland look of most of it, and heard about some textures going "LOL" when it's raining (is it the grass only then?).
I've been always a fan of a more "fairy" magical place, so yeah, LB is the one for me! I fell in love with the glowing plants since the first time I went there. I live in a tropical country and love forests :)

Goblet is my second choice. I liked it as least as well as Lavender Beds before the remodel (which puts it way ahead now,) and I like it way, waaaaay more than Shirogane. I just don't live there because I was lucky enough to get a large in my first choice, Mist. I have to admit, the make-over and gorgeous pool they put in made me really tempted to relocate, but I just have too much sentimental attachment to Mist to move.

I don't dislike the goblet. I actually like it a lot better with the huge swimming area, makes it feel a bit more wealthy, Uldah-ish.

I personally enjoyed the Goblet until they added the gaudy swimming area. It looked much better before.

I just don’t like the colour theme, probably it’s one of the reasons why ppl prefer other three residences

I am have 3 larges in Shirogane (46), Mist (5) and Goblet (60).

My order of favorite to least is Mist -> Goblet -> Shirogane.

Many of the plots in Goblet are trash, however the ones surrounding brimming heart are really nice. I also really like the plots on the edge with a view of the chasm, which is why i go plot 60. The only thing missing from Goblet are neighbors =( One other thing is that when it rains in Goblet the grass looks strange (shiny).

I started in Gridana so the place I saw was Lavender Beds, and I loved it. Then I saw the Mist and loved it even more. When it came time to by a house, I did the due diligence and checked out he Goblet. It was just Meh, didn’t feel anything for it the first time I saw it like I did the others. Just too bland.

Mist > Lavender Beds > Shirogane > Goblet

Luckily I’ve been able to go small to medium to just recently Large all in the Mist.

I chose the goblet because it made sense for the sort of RP I'm aiming for. That said, I think it would be much nicer if it felt less "rocky" and more like an oasis. More greenery would be fantastic for this place. I stilll really like my FCs plot (The Brimming Heart Medium), but I think the basic aesthetics could use some improvement. Either by adding more greenery or more "wealth" elements.
